OUT OF THE SILENT PLANET

Here's a piece I did for illustration class I did last spring. I wanted to make illustrations for C.S. Lewis' Out of the Silent Planet. I did a few large pieces, but I haven't been able to get to a large scanner yet (they're 11x17). It's a gouache sketch I did of the protagonist, Ransom. He's based on a young Tolkien.
