Star Wars Wednesday #16: ARTOO

Here's another oldie inked the old-fashioned way. Here's the comic page it's from.

I also got around to updating my Star Wars fan art blog. It's been untouched for about a year and a half. It has almost all of the Star Wars art you can see on this blog, but they are all in one place for you viewing convenience. Click on the link to the right under "Pages" or here.

Star Wars Wednesday #13: CHILDISH THINGS

"When I became a man I put away childish things, including the fear of childishness and the desire to be very grown up."    -- C.S. Lewis

Durge. Ink on bristol board, 6x9.
Drawm with a Pentel Pocket Brush Pen

The Lewis quote could be applied to Star Wars in general, but I thought it appropriate for today's post. Genndy Tartakovsky's Clone Wars cartoon is one of my favorite things Star Wars. I have a few illustrations planned based on the style of that show.

Star Wars Wednesday #12: SHADOWS OF THE EXPANDED UNIVERSE

Prince Xizor. Ink on bristol board, 6x9.
Drawn with a Pentel Pocket Brush Pen

I was going to title this post "R.I.P. EU" and do a little write up on what was formally known as the Expanded Universe, but I just didn't have the time. I'll have more Expanded Universe (now known as "Legends") characters in this series, so maybe I'll at least link to some articles on the topic in the future.
